A tag cloud help with search engine optimization?
All things being equal – does anyone know if the addition of a tag cloud to a website is viewed positively or negatively by search engines? Would it improve the chances of being listed for a term popular in the tag cloud? And if so, search engines put more weight on the source "larger" results that come from a large number of people using a particular tag?
There is no evidence of this, but the labels are the links and if they are good words (keywords specific) then they get points when dragged.
