SEO guys, what tools do you use? How do you begin this process on the website optimization?

If you're doing yourself, start with learning. There are several good books that you can get – SEO Book by Aaron Wall, Small Business Marketing Search Engine Guide by Jennifer Laycock, and SEO: An hour a day and cousin Jennifer Grappone Gradiva. Those are three I recommend when I speak at conferences search. There are several excellent forums and blogs that you should be reading every day. Tools – the only tools we use are different plugins for Firefox, as the search for status, SEO for Firefox, and Developer Web. I avoid SEO software. It is not about spreadsheets and word processing are talking about. Good SEO is not running a piece of software. HTH.
